Obsculta This has a brighter and more rhythmic mood than most dungeon synth though still within the genre, with lo-fi, ambiance, and a nod to ritualism/black magic. There's some jazz elements to this too, with distinct vamps, melodies, and parts that sound like improvisation (which makes sense for ritual music). This is easily in the top tier of dungeon synth this year...and that's not surprising given that Ranseur is one of the best and bravest artists in the genre. 4.5/5 Favorite track: Thorn and Briar Dance.
